Snow-shoeing

Spas and pampering
If you’re looking for some rest & relaxation, there are two havens of peace for you to try out:
The La Bouitte hotel is famous for its 3 Michelin-starred restaurant, but also offers a beautiful spa area. It is located in a hamlet of St Martin called St Marcel, a 5-minute drive up the mountain. It offers a range of treatments and massages, and paid entry to its spa which includes a sauna scented with spruce, hammam with citrus fruits, indoor lake, outdoor jacuzzi, relaxation and herbal room.

The Leen Paô spa is located in the Chalets des Gypses development, a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive from the village centre. It has an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, 2 saunas, 2 hammams, a sports room and an outdoor terrace. The facilities are only accessible to clients who have booked a massage or treatment. Treatments include face and body massages, manicures and waxing.

Non residents can access the Lodji Hotel wellness area (indoor heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs, sauna, hammam and gym) if they book a treatment (one per person : choose a 50mn massage or facial treatment) and add 40€/pers on top of it to get access for 2 hours.

The M Lodge hotel also offers use of its spa facilities to clients who have booked treatments. It was newly built for Winter 2022/3 and is partnered with Valmont, the famous Swiss cellular cosmetic specialist. It offers a 16 metre indoor pool, 3 massage cabins, a wellness area, a fitness room and a sauna.

Cross country skiing
If you fancy trying a very different way of skiing, why not give cross country skiing a go?
Classic cross country skis are easy to use and available to rent in the local ski hire shop. You can even book a guided session to really get the most out of your experience and find your way around. There are 28kms of marked out cross country pistes in the valley from St Martin de Belleville all along the river to Les Menuires as well as Le Châtelard.

More children activities
There are endless options for tobogganing. Start at the Saint Martin nursery slope (sledges can be hired from the ski rental shop) or make your way to the ‘Roc’n Bob‘ track in Les Menuires – A 4km long tobogganing course! Get your ticket and sledge from the bottom of the Roc 1 gondola in Les Menuires!
‘Speed Mountain‘ is another great option to keep the little ones entertained. A small roller coaster set directly next to the ski slopes. Easy access with skis – At the bottom of the Bruyères gondola where tickets can be bought!
