Self Catered – Saint Martin is an expanding, independent company that manages multiple chalets / apartments in the Belleville Valley.
We have been operating for 6 years and are now looking for 3 young professionals to join our team.
Ops Manager / Office Assistant
The Operations Manager is a key management position created to take overall responsibility for the operational delivery of our holidays in France to the required high service standards. Reporting to the Managing Directors, the Operations Manager will initially shadow them to learn the role before taking over full responsibility.
This position has long-term potential for someone to settle in the Alps!
Duties
- 40 hours max. per week (from mid November – end of April)
- General overseeing of day-to-day operations
- Guest relations
- Conciergerie – liaising with clients & operators
- Organising + managing cleaning teams
- Chalet quality controls
- Basic accounting
Requirements
- UK National Insurance number + UK bank account
- English + French speaking (intermediate – advanced)
- Proficient writing skills (English + French)
- Full driving license
- Computer knowledge (basic Exel spreadsheet, Gmail, ChaletManager)
- Great attention to detail
- Be organised, diligent and pro-active
- Have a positive and flexible attitude
- Previous experience with Xero accounting program is preferable

Maintenance Person
The maintenance position would be ideal for someone with a can-do attitude and experience in all aspects of maintenance.
If you are looking for a varied role then this job is for you!
It involves day to day repairs in our chalets/apartments and therefore requires you to be on-call during working hours.
Duties
- Take ownership and resolve maintenance issues as and when they arise
- To communicate efficiently with the Chalets Manager/Hotel Manager and resort staff with the progress and projected completion of maintenance works
- To pro-actively identify, note, plan and resolve any maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Interaction with guests
- At times you may also be required to assist with transporting guests around resort
Requirements
- UK National Insurance number + UK bank account
- Intermediate level of spoken English & French
- Full driving license
